The biggest conservation issue confronting our area is Louisiana's coastal erosion. If you need to find out more about it, several websites are listed below. On the national level, Audubon has a very informative website which allows you to fill in a few blanks to sent automatic letters to your elected officials on projects which are important to you. You can also sign up for a bi-monthly update on issues being addressed in Washington. If you have a local conservation question concerning birds, bird habitat, our parks, quality of life issues, please feel free to contact Baton Rouge Audubon via this website.
